So just a quick update. So I have decided not to continue with the the Paleo challenge. Just due to some recent health issues it just wasn’t working go me was only down 2lbs after 2 weeks. I did take away some great things from it.
In other news my ankle is slowly healing. I’ve been doing more and more on it so slowly but surely.
Here is a picture of Jen and I from tonight’s boot camp class. I got these shirts made from https://www.etsy.com/shop/RufflesWithLove. They came out great! I love cute workout clothes. Xtreme Change has become a home away from home. Through ups and downs, injury and recovery fat days and badass days, it’s been there for me. I couldn’t be more grateful.

So as part of my company’s Worksite Wellness program I help create and I am the co-chair of, I learned it was American Heart Association’s National Eating Healthy Day TODAY Wednesday, November 6! We have been working with the American Heart Association on several initiatives and to celebrate today the Wellness Works team has free fruit in our cafeterias for staff members. It is so great to know that I had a part in this and that even if it is in the smallest way, I am helping people get healthy!! So make sure you celebrate American Heart Association’s National Eating Healthy Day today and eat healthy!!

So week one down and everyday is getting easier. I’m down 2lbs :-) Was hoping for more but that’s with no working out so I’ll take it. I’m still learning as I’m going so I know in the strictest definition of Paleo I haven’t been true to but I have for the most part been dairy and grain free and cut the crap and sugar. I know I have had some slip ups just by not knowing better but with anything I have done for weight loss I’ll do it on my own terms and still be successful. Here is one on the recipes I’ve used this week I make these Almond Chicken Fingers and eat them all day dinner, lunch and snacks lol
Tonight was also my first night back to boot camp on not just upper body and it felt great! I was dying don’t get me wrong but that’s because cardiovascularly I haven’t been working out and my legs were like jello but my muscle memory will come back. Baby steps they say :-)
